We are really happy to announce that again Stow Healthcare has punched well above its weight as a small company to have been awarded a significant number of finalist places in national care awards to be judged over the course of this autumn and winter. Stow Healthcare Group has been selected as a national finalist as Care Group of the Year in several different competitions, and has also been shortlisted as the best Care Employer in the UK in two seperate competitions. The training, development and innovation strengths of the group are also up for awards, as is Ruth French as Operations Director of the Year for the second year running.
Earlier in September, Stowlangtoft Hall’s Care Team was shortlisted by the Great British Care Awards for the Care Team of the Year regional finals. The care team was represented at the judging event in Peterborough by Clare Jenkinson, Shirley Wing and Linda Elmer. It is a huge achievement to have reached the final in one of the most competitive categories and we can’t wait to find out the results at the end of October! Stowlangtoft Hall staff were accompanied by colleagues from Melford Court, Halstead Hall and Ford Place at the event. Brandon Park has also been recognised with its Manager Sum Gallagher reaching the finals of the Leaders in Care Awards in the Home Manager of the Year category.
