After 15 years of growth, innovation, and care, we are announcing an important new chapter in the story of Stow Healthcare.
What began as a single home in 2009 has flourished into a family of eight award-winning care homes across East Anglia. Along the way, we have been recognised nationally for our commitment to quality, most recently with the accolade of Care Group of the Year. We are immensely proud of all that has been achieved by our dedicated teams and the communities who support us.
As we step back from the running of the company, we are delighted to share that Stow Healthcare has been acquired by CGEN Care, a highly experienced US-based care operator who are beginning their journey in the UK with us. This is a hugely positive step that secures a strong and sustainable future for the group.
CGEN Care has appointed Kay Cox as Chief Executive Officer. Kay brings with her extensive senior leadership experience in social care, most recently as CEO of Signature Senior Lifestyle. She is excited to get to know each of our homes and to build on the strong values and high standards that make Stow Healthcare unique.
For our residents, families, and staff, it is important to reassure you that nothing changes in the day-to-day running of our homes. The same leadership team remains in place, your employment terms and conditions are unchanged, and our focus on delivering exceptional care remains at the heart of everything we do.
Over the coming months, we will be working closely with CGEN Care and Kay to ensure a smooth transition, while staying true to the ethos that has guided Stow Healthcare from the very beginning.
