There was a special Christmas Present for staff and residents at Halstead Hall as it was rated ‘Good’ by CQC in their inspection report published on Christmas Eve. Inspectors noted the significant change” seen under the new ownership in the last 12 months as the home was rated Good overall and outstanding in the ‘Well Led’ Category. The report stated: “There was a strong ethos of personalised care and people were enabled to live full and interesting lives. The service and the people living in the service now benefited from outstanding leadership.” They noted that: “Enormous strides have been made since the new providers have taken over the ownership of the service. The lives of people living in the service have been transformed.”
Halstead Hall has had a difficult past -last rated as ‘inadequate’ by CQC under the previous ownership. Since taking over the service 12 months ago, we have driven up quality and raise standards; improving the lives of residents using the service. The report quoted one resident who said: “It has saved my life coming here.”
