The benefits of children and the elderly having the opportunity to send time together have recently been a hot topic in the media. We have been embracing this opportunity to get to know some new friends by forming a new partnership with our local nursery group. Woodpeckers Nursery are now regular visitors to the home and enjoy joining in with the activities with staff and residents at Melford Court as well as joining us for special events. The children visited the home for special Easter activities including an Easter Egg hunt in Melford Court’s garden. We are delighted to host the children at our home – the fun, laughter and interaction with the children brings back such happy memories for our residents and they cannot wait for the group to return.
